Curried Pumpkin & Bacon Soup Recipe
This is a nice twist on my old favourite, the roast pumpkin soup. The bacon gives the soup a lovely smokey salty taste, and the curry keeps the flavour alive. Use real chunks of bacon for best results.

Sweet Vanilla Onion Soup
A sweeter variation of the traditional French onion soup recipe, this sweet onion soup gets it's flavor and aroma from vanilla seeds and a cinnamon stick.
With the whole family sick, I thought it would be nice to have a pot of soup on the stove to dip into anytime we needed something warm to eat.
